HAIR CARE

PRE-INSTALLATION :
-Always Co-wash your hair before installation (Co-washing is a technique where you wash the hair with conditioner only).
-When Co-washing your hair we recommend using a moisturizing conditioner, which will help retain moisture
within the hair strands and help to preserve the integrity of the hair.
-Rinse the hair with cold water once you’ve evenly applied the conditioner throughout your hair and let the
hair air dry.

BUNDLE CARE :
• Make sure hair is completely brushed through and detangled before washing (we recommend a vent wig brush).
• Wash with cool to warm water. Excessive heat will lead to softening of the weft.
• Wash your hair in ONE direction (from weft to ends) and avoid circular motions! This can lead to
tangling.
• Always use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to avoid tangling.
• Leave conditioner on for approximately five minutes, then brush through the hair starting from the ends.
Rinse thoroughly.
• Squeeze out excess water. Do not towel rub or twist the hair to dry. Allow hair to air dry.

• “Plucking”, the great part is that it looks good and gives a very natural look. HOWEVER it can cause shedding. When you pluck your Lace you are untying the knots. What are knots? Knots come from the actual strands of hair on the lace. A few strands of hair are tied into the lace piece by piece and are so small you can barely see them. Another popular for stylist use is “bleaching.” The good thing about bleaching is that is helps the lace blend with your natural scalp. HOWEVER, “bleaching” your Lace can cause the lace to dry out which could cause balding. Balding is not something that can happen right away after bleaching your Lace, but as the weeks go by and combing, brushing, styling, excessive scratching or even tying it down with a scarf and the scarf rubbing against your Lace “may” cause balding.
• To properly maintain your Lace if you decide to bleach the lace Is by having a professional stylist seal your Lace after bleaching and moisturizer your Lace twice a week so it will not dry out from bleaching. You can also have a professional stylist apply a clear rinse to the bleached knots so that it will not dry out.
